🌿 Guest Information for Your Stay at Chywoone Cottages
We want your stay to be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. As the owners of Chywoone Cottages, we manage this website ourselves to give you clear, direct information. If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, simply use our contact form and we’ll be happy to help.
🕒 Arrival & Departure
- Check‑in is from 3 PM, and check‑out is by 10 AM so we have time to prepare the cottage for the next guests.
- Please let us know if you expect to arrive late.
- On‑site parking is available — please use the designated spaces.
- Swallows: A starter pack of wood is provided for the wood burner.
🏡 Caring for the Cottage
- Please treat the cottage with the same care you would your own home.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
- Use coasters and mats to protect surfaces.
- If anything gets damaged or broken, just let us know so we can put it right.
🍽️ Kitchen & Utilities
- Each cottage includes a fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, and oven with ceramic hob.
- Additional logs for the wood burner (Swallows) can be purchased locally.
- Please switch off lights and appliances when not in use.
♻️ Waste & Recycling
- Recycling bins are provided — please separate glass, paper, and plastics.
- General waste should be placed in the black bin outside before departure.
🐾 Dogs
- Well‑behaved dogs are welcome.
- Please keep them off the furniture and clean up after them.
- Dogs should be supervised outdoors as livestock may be nearby.
- Please bring your own pet towels.
🌼 Garden & Outdoor Areas
- Guests are welcome to enjoy the owners’ beautiful garden and surrounding fields.
- Please respect the plants and wildlife — avoid picking flowers or disturbing nesting birds.
- Outdoor furniture is available; please store cushions indoors overnight.
🔒 Safety & Comfort
- Take a moment to familiarise yourself with fire exits and extinguishers.
- As this is a rural property, please take care on uneven paths and gravel areas.
- Keep windows closed when leaving the cottage to prevent wildlife from wandering in.
🗺️ Exploring the Local Area
- The village of St Keverne is a short walk away, with shops, pubs, and restaurants.
- Nearby highlights include Coverack, Mullion Cove, Cadgwith, and Roskilly’s Ice Cream Farm.
- Maps and walking guides are provided in your welcome folder.
👋 Departure
- Please leave the cottage tidy and remove any food from the fridge.
- Return keys to the designated box or hand them to the owner.
